Kick plates
I have a 95 Celebration and I wondered how the chrome kick plates detach from the vehicle. Are they glued on or bolted/screwed on? Some cheap OEM ones have come up on Ebay so may as well swap them out

So far as I know it is adhesive, along with the plate itself running lower and being held in place a bit by the door gasket.
Don't know how strong the adhesive may be, possibly need a heat gun and you could possibly get away with some basic interior prying type tools, just be careul not to bend it?

refer to the link above and notice the part 8 on the picture. Treadplates are mounted by metal clips. It's need to pull it quite strong to dismount it. You need to apply the strength enough to detach but not to bent the treadplate.
Hope this will help.
