Large yellow warning light?
I skimmed through the forums and couldn't find anything matching my issue - today on startup(s) the car seems to have an electrical flicker though no mechanical issues or issue starting as of today, but the long yellow warning light is staying on? A relay under the driver's side area makes a stuttering clicking noise but I glanced at the diagrams there is nothing terribly important on that side if I'm not mistaken? I just spent 5 hours in city/hwy driving the car is running fine...
Hi Vancouver
If I remember correctly, you have a 1989 XJS V12?
Hopefully its not a problem with the ABS but next time you go for a drive, see if the ABS Brake Pump is starting to get Hot, even though that is on the other side of the Car

Will do, though it hasn't given any issues in the past, least not any more than usual with that system. I noted 15-20 brake pumps until the (!) light kicks on and the pump goes for a few seconds, but that seems to be independent of the clicking electrial stutter on startup.
The long warning light does not have a dedicated bulb, it is a prismatic way of drawing attention to an ordinary warning light being lit in the group below it. Look carefully to see which of the bulbs below is also lit, and that will indicate what is the troubled system,
