Default LED conversions

Hey guys, I'm kinda getting annoyed and my dash being so dull and hard to see at night, so i was considering a LED upgrade to the dash. So far i have really only found this site v12s LEDs for Jaguar Ferrari Mercedes BMW Porsche Rolls-Royce

Has anyone bought from them before, also i was reading that i will have to change the fuses for any of these conversions to a 2 amp, is that all i need to do or is there more to do??

Cheers,

John

I've seen the site, and have them bookmarked for when that day comes. Have not used their products as yet. Let me know if you pull the trigger.

I've got some bulbs out and been thinking about using led's to replace them. Question I've got is: on taillights etc do the LED's that v12s sell work with the bulb out sensors?

Yes. Indeed, I've love to hear how it goes if you take the plunge.
I could use a bit more illumination on nighttime dash -

I was ready to give it a try but got a short answer to my question about the bulb failure modules and don't want to rewire anything.

Got a longer answer back but basically same result. To work with the BFM's I was given two options. 1) splice resistors into the wiring 2) Unplug the BFM's. Not ready to do either until I see that they really are going to produce a substantial improvment in light output.

I have heard that the bulb cover can be stained from the bulbs and if cleaned up can make it brighter, might try this first

has anyone made any progress on this topic?? Having same issue as Robert. I've already replace the gauge bulbs with new sylvania bulbs and it is the same issue.

Ozzie....did you clean the bulb covers?

I've purchased the kit and it works great but you may need to clean the faded green filters over some lights. Also I yanked the bright white LEDs out from the interior lighting as it made the tan interior seem cold. Everywhere else it's worked great, and made things a lot brighter. Haven't thrown any codes with them. It's been over 2 years or more now. Would I do it again? Definitely.

Have you got some pics you can post? Just waiting on some cash to do myself. Did you run into any issues?
