Low Pressure Warning Light
Gadgets, oh me and nanny state requiring that they work!!!
Dad was a professional soldier. As a top kick in his last couple of years, he was second in charge of a post motor pool. The CO, a Captain, a smart guy, relied on Dad to run the place. Last years of WWII. Most of the drivers were civilians, many were women. Neighbor lady's sister was one of them!!! Jeeps, sedans, and 6x6 trucks in the post fleet.
Saturday AM was "Motor Stables". Hoods/bonnets up. Down and under. All fluid levels checked. Oil, coolant, brake fluid, gear boxes, etc.
Dad taught me and my brother the drill. I still follow it. Easier, nowadays. Most checked under the hood/bonnet. Did just that,
day before yesterday.
