Default Lower temp aux fan switch

Does anyone know a part number for the lower temperature version of the auxiliary fan thermoswitch?

this thread shows you how to tie the aux fan to the AC compressor. I'm sure you can use this plan to connect it to another switch so you can manually control when it comes on/off?

this plan, I believe also let's the fan come on when it's supposed to, in case you forget to turn it on manually?

The fan switch is a standard 22mm thread switch. They are all over ebay, and motor factors of course, and you can easily find one that switches at the temp you want. The standard XJS HE one switches at 85C, both on and off. As this tended to switch on and off my (mechanical replacement) main electric fan too much in traffic, as a surge of cold rad water come through then hot then cold etc etc, I replaced mine with an on at 90 off at 85 one. All sorts are available and lots of different temp on and off ranges.

Thanks for the info. I'll search. Is that 22mm thread or 22mm head?

In my opinion, it is also well worth anyone considering Grant Francis' fix for controlling a main electric fan. After years of messing about I found that it is the best, most reliable and simplest way of doing it, in a V12 XJS, anyway.
Jigjag: I did mean 22 mm Thread. For example
TRIDON THERMO TEMPERATURE WATER RADIATOR COOLER FAN SWITCH 85-90 DEGREE C
