Default Manual conversion

Hello i have a 1988 xj12 and was gonna do a manual conversion on it. Does anyone know a rough ballpark number on what it will cost in alberta, canada

Please be more specific… do you want the cost of a kit, or the cost of having someone else install a kit, or assembling your own kit out of pieces?

Price for the kit and for a shop to put it in sorry should have been more specific

The only kit available now is from Roadcraft in Uk, retailed by Mobeck or Simply Performance in UK. 5200 gbp plus shipping and import, excluding Vat that you don’t pay. Does not include pedal box… that’s DIY or $1000-ish from Old English Motor Cars of Sebring FL. Plus some to put it all in… $10k USD all-in is probably a good baseline.

i bought the Driven Man kit, you dont really need a kit. I didnt use a lot of what they included.

they still sell a bellhousing.

the Simply Performance and Mobeck offerings look good.

do it yourself, its not that difficult. I did it in my garage on jack stands.

im in Canada too. Budget 6-7k easy if you do it yourself. Way more if you get someone to do it for you(what fun is that)

I wish i could. Im also in in canada edmonton to be exact was prob gonna have jag sport do the work as im not mech inclined at all, which i know is not the best when owning these cars.
