I was skimming through some old forum posts regarding marelli issues, if timing Adv is possible, etc. I noticed in some of these low quality images their cars had a loop wire on the black plug for high-octane fuels? I seem to be missing such a looped wire? Can someone confirm if/what I'm missing as I swear it was there at some point...
I run 94octane anyway car doesn't have issues.
EDIT: I found another post from waaaaay back that shows this item missing it's loop connector so I made one out of wire, I have no idea how long I've been driving with the part having fallen off or been misplaced but my god that is quite a difference...went and bought some xylene and fuel lubricant for a special tank of "race gas" and its beautiful, so much grunt off the line to.

I assume the photos you posted show your car without the jumper. Can you post a photo showing how you fixed this? Thanks in advance.
X2... I think I have this jumper already (I didn't install it it came this way) BUT I would love to see that section of electronics with the jumper... Or,,, is that what it looks like complete... I'm not at my car.
Can someone please advise if I need to add the jumper to map for higher octane fuel?
There are 3 cylindrical electrical connectors zip tied together — one large black, one small black and one small red. There are several multi-color wires connecting the 3 at one end.
At the other end, the large black has no wires, the small black has a small jumper, and the small red has multi-color wires leading somewhere else

I’ve attached photos of what is described above.
Good morning Brother... I understood those to have something to do with advancing the timing on the Marelli Cars but don't know much more than that. I am super interested to spy on y'all's more experienced insights as to what this is all about... Thanks for starting a conversation!
Your already selected for high octane. The black plug needs the loop to 'select' high, remove the black plug end for **** gas.
Please don't use shitty gas the higher the octane the better they run you make it back in MPG and less injector gunk.
You can confirm by going for a short fast drive with and without the black plug peice in...you should notice the car is either peppy or unenthusiastic. Just don't use shitty gas.
