Master Cylinder Fluid Adapter/Grommets
I've searched and come up empty handed I'm hoping someone has a tip for me. I'm needing to replace the fluid adapters and grommets on my 1986 master cylinder. I can't find these grommets for a pre-facelift XJS. I can't find the adapters at all.
Does anyone know part numbers for either? Even proper term for the adapters might help. Are the pre and post facelift master cyls the same part?
Also, if I wanted to remake the metal lines from the reservoir to the cyl what type of tubing should I use? I'd like to rd-route them along the firewall and fender.

Jigjag,
If you're talking about the master cylinder service kit which includes the fluid adapter nozzles, then the part number is AAU6839. You can see all the part numbers and diagrams on the Jaguar parts website.
The price in the UK is £24. Just order it for collection from a Jaguar Dealer in the US and there are no shipping charges.
Good luck
Paul
PS facelift XJS uses an ABS system which is completely different from your pre-ABS setup.
