has anyone ever stroked a 5.3 crank all the way out to a 6l stroke?

yes and somtimes you grind right thru to the oil holes, you then have a nice display piece.

as you are learning stroking a crank by offset grinding, can make things not very strong.
it weakens the crank

Not sure where you are in NY, but seems to me there ought to bee a running 94-95 XJ12 6.0 available for less $$ than all the machine work you are planning to undertake.

for example: Jaguar XJ12 1994 6.0 liter V-12

I know people use 2.1 chevy rod journals. so im just curious to how much someone has successfully stroked it
