Default Metalastic rubber parts availability

Guys
I has come to my notice that genuine Metalastic brand front subframe front "six shot" bushes - part number C30314 superseding to MHC2370AA - are becoming more rare, and that soon they will no longer be manufactured. More importantly, stocks are also low.

Additionally genuine Metalastic brand front subframe rear V mount bushes, part number C45666 superseding to MHC2360AA may similarly no longer be manufactured; but stocks of these are higher.

I mention this as, even though aftermarket non-genuine bushes of both sorts are available, they are not identical to the genuine ones, and in some cases at least, are far less durable. Additionally, they may not give the same ride quality as the genuine parts. Anyone thinking of renewing these items as part of a rebuild might be well advised to get them in while they are available.

good spot, and a good point

as mentioned, non genuine items do not seem to have the durability and quality of originals, this must also manifest in a different ' feel ' to the suspension and ride quality,

from stock i have bought and owned for my own car, genuine Metalastic items have the word ' Dunlop ' moulded into the rubber part , this is a good indicator on other parts if being claimed to be OEM or even genuine,

Hard to understand that there is not a market for these. I changed mine with original parts spring 2019, so I will be OK for quite some years, and maybe the XJ-S by then has become more interesting to support for the suppliers.

How many of each part number are needed? Two of each?
