Default More mystery cables

These two cables I discovered while cleaning out the engine compartment. The come through a hole in the drivers side wheel well, and seem to be made for attachment to the two cables that are part of the wiring harness along the right side of the upper engine compartment.

Any clue what they do?

I know I could just plug them in and "see what happens", but I have to wonder if they were deliberately unplugged to *solve* some problem by a previous owner.

Finally I found the object in the third photo sitting towards the bottom of the engine compartment. Is this an engine mount???

Thanks,

John

Correction to the above...the cables come from a hole in the PASSENGER side wheel well (In a US car).

Thanks,

John

Those look like wires for a heated oxygen sensor. There should be some on the opposite side as well.

The round thingy looks like an old upper shock absorber bushing

Cheers
