Very nice! Congratulations, you should be very happy with this.
BTW, I have been driving my '95 4.0 in Tampa rush hour traffic, trouble free, every day for five years. The XJS is a solid, competently engineered, well built car. I have no inclination to replace mine ever, under any circumstances.

Never been to Sedona, but spent quite a bit of time in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Loved Scottsdale - 115 in the summer is a bit much for me, though; even if it is "dry heat"! LOL

Sure Calvin! I won't pick it up for 2 more weeks, but when I do I'll check to make sure it's still good. The car was parked because of rust, not mechanical issues.

Thanks, I love my XJS.

I thought the XJS was a fragile car, but from what I've heard around here, it sounds like it's built like a tank!

I agree with you on the heat, 115 is too much for me.

Iv had mine for 7 years and that book and guys on here are awesome.

yeah id do the fuel hoses and what not, just went to a local auto place picked up some good efi hose. i got rid of things that really isnt needed. right fuel pressr, air rails, i made my own hose connections instead of gettin rebuilt ones. jsut melt off the old rubber on those hose ends and reuse them.
its fun to work on and when that engine comes to life better then it did before your work started its a amazing feeling.

KEEP IT COOL!!!!! everybody well scream that.
your gonna love it!!

Welcome to the forum.
The 1st thing you need to know in order to understand the XJS is that the XJS is like a beautiful woman: mesmerizing to look at, expensive to possess, and impossible to truly understand.
