Unhappy Need seat help

My front seats are a wreck and I either need to swap in better ones or find an upholstery shop to make new leather patterns from old ripped originals? I know swapping in old ones will probably require Leatherique oil to soften and then I will need to dye them red. I have not found the Dark Red interior to be very common so not sure what to do. For fun I swapped in a beautiful set of fronts from an XJ6 but they are a little taller and my head hit the roof, darn. They looked great.

New can still buy new leather seat covers ready-to-install. I got some fro Pauls' Jaguar a few years ago. About $1100 for the two front seats and about $1200 for the rear seat, as I recall.

You could also try World Upholstery, OSJI, BAS, etc.

Cheers

Not sure what year your XJS is, but I saw these on ebay today .....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-...#ht_1260wt_907

and I bought a set of these a while back for my 92 XJS....

Quality is amazing, but it took me 16 hours per seat to fit them......
