Default New brake oil warning

Hello,

My brake oil warning light is on and I suppose that this coming from the tank.
My current solutions is to make a short-circuit at the switch level (A wire between the two cables).

Do you have another idea?
Thx

The warning light may be on due to 1)low fluid in the master cylinder reservoir, or, 2) a loss in pressure in either the front or back brake system or, 3)a wiring issue. If you put a wire between the 2 wires at the master cylinder cap switch, that will keep the light on, as your switch thinks you are low on fluid, I believe.
Your problem may be with the differential pressure switch (#2 above), if your car is fitted with one; if this is the problem, it will be necessary to reset this switch but more importantly, to find out why there was a lower pressure on the one side (front or back). You may have a leak of brake fluid? Was the master cylinder level down?
Hope this helps!

Hi, thank you for your reply.
I've put a wire between the 2 wires and the light is off. The fluid level is good and seems to be constant.
Thx
