I have a backlog of cars promised to son and grandsons and of course that means a backlog of motors and head pulling.
This led to me deciding to make a decent puller rather than struggle with my old makeshift effort.
Used a laminate of 2 ×10mm plate with hex holes in place of the 10mm holes in one of the plates. These then welded together. This allowed me to use high tensile nuts and threaded rod and the ability to change them out if threads flog out. Nuts are just retained in sockets with bead of silicone for convenience. Laser cut components for two complete pullers $130.00
First motor today using it, maybe l just lucked out but two heads @ 30 minutes each, was a breeze.

If so I would really appropriate it as doing from measurements would be hard.

 

I do. I will retrieve it from my laser cutter. I did speak to him when l picked up my job and he is happy to supply me the file he created. Not sure what format they use but assume it is universal to the industry,
