Default New paint Old XJS

I'm very excited to have finally finished the body and paint on my 1990 5.3.
I hope to have it back together in a couple weeks to enjoy with my wife this summer.

That is the original colour, Regency Red Metalic. It really "pops" in the sun.

Thanks for the compliments, I feel like a kid at Christmas, waiting to open a gift. It's been only an 8 month project I know some restorations shared in the forum are much more involved, but 8 months is a long time for me to stay focused on one project

I now have the car mostly assembled and am mostly happy with it.
Here are some pics.

That looks great!
Did you also replace the vinyl on the side vent panels? Mine looks pretty ratty, and I need to find a good replacement for it when I paint.

Thanks. I just repainted them with a satin trim paint. They were in good condition otherwise.
