Default No power to my ABS relay

So delving into my ABS light that's been on since I got my car running...I ran through the test procedure in the manual. I went up to test 6 or so as that deals mostly with the power to the ABS module, which I don't seem to have. I have power to the relay, but the ABS module doesn't seem to output any voltage to the main ABS relay to activate it, but it works when I jumper pins 2 to 8 as described in the test procedure. I opened up the ABS module, which according to the manual pins 2 to 8 are connected internally (but they actually go through a 2k resistor first), which I found to be correct and I can measure the 2k at the pins. But when I put it all back together, no power to the relay. Any thoughts here....seems to be the module, but it also seems to be working enough that it should turn on. I'm contemplating using a jumper on the relay...maybe with a 2k resistor.
edit-after realizing that I was looking at the pins on the module in reverse, I realized I don't have continunity between pins 2 and 8, thus no internal connection in the module, so no power to the relay...odd as I would think this should be a simple trace connection..and of course its in the most difficult to see area of the board.

So an update for those of you trying to figure out your ABS issues, this is my update. So after going through the testing procedure, I realized that this is for an older system. I looked into the ABS module itself and did not see an internal connection from pins 2-8 as described. A seconday power input is to pin 19, from the ignition switch position 2. I was not getting this 12v input at that pin. I worked my way back to the ignition switch and as soon as I removed the cover, I could see green corrosion. I pulled the switch and opened it on the benchand this is the picture of the pins internally. I've since ordered a new switch. Hope this is the culprit.
