Default oil pressure light at startup

Maybe this is one of those things where I just suddenly started paying attention, or maybe it is different. I am not sure.

In the last week or so my pressure light comes on at first at startup and then goes away as pressure immediately rises. I also noticed a bit of a chatter at startup that immediately went away. I changed the oil and filter, assuming it was dirty and possibly taking a second to bypass, but its the same.

My pressures went up by about 10 psi respective to any load and heat range, but the startup issue still exists. This morning I couldn't tell if it was worse, or if it was something else because the bracket from the cat to the bellhousing cover is loose and it sometimes rattles.

Its only after a few hours of sitting, doesn't happen if I shut it off and back on. Assuming my pump is okay, because it idles cold at 62psi and hot at 20-30psi. I know she wasn't really cared for before, so the clearances could be big, but that would be affecting the overall pressure, not just startup.

Have I just not noticed this before? Does anyone else have the same experience?

yeah it all makes sense in the little lucas demo at the store, but most hands aren't running that demo to 2000rpm

The V12 oil pump is HUGE as far as oil pumps go.

It has pick up and delivery pipes that run from the rear up to the pump at the front. Each of these has o/ring seals that fail with age, so whenever the sump is off (haha) the o/rings are replaced with Hi-temp Viton units.

Too high viscosity oil on the "lower" end of the spec will cause that also, as the oil is too heavy to pump quickly.

I HAVE THE FLAME SUIT ON, AND DONT REALLY CARE ANYHOW.

I run 10W40 in ALL the V12's, even Sir Arthur (PreHE) at 502000kms, and although his light flickers at cold start "sometimes", no other issues EVER. The HE's ran 20W/50 waaaay back, coz I knew little on the subject, but that spec oil is nowhere to be found in my fleet.

The HE's all run 35psi HOT at idle, and 70ish at 3000rpm HOT. The oil lights go out as they crank, mostly, and I use Toyota idiot switches, coz they dont leak and are 7psi setting.

I do not run AAV units, so cold start is 950RPM, via the Audi solenoid that I switch on/off via the cabin.
