Oil Quantity Gauge

Hi guys,

I have a 95 xjs. When I accelerate, the oil quantity gauge goes to 4-5 quarts and then when I stop at a light, it almost goes to 1. Any ideas of what this means? Thanks..

If this is a standard car, there is no 'oil quantity' gauge. If it is standard, you are looking at the oil pressure gauge, and the behaviour is normal.
