Has anybody ever heard of any switching out the non-tilt 77-89 steering column for a tilting version 99-06? Is it a possibility? If I were change something about my driving position it would be this. BTW I have a 89 Lucas.

 

You might be in luck, I am about to fit a column from a 99 XJ to an 83 XJS, it might not be for a little while yet but if I can find this thread I will let you know

 

What we really need is a way to upgrade those toothpick steering wheel stalks. Something from a BMW or Lexus would be nice...

 

i love those stalks because they are just solid metal. They make a nice solid click when you use them
