Default Oooooo... nice ninety.

I seem doomed to find these lovely bits and not be in a position to adopt them.

This is one of the finest 90 coupes I've seen. 1990 Jaguar XJS XJS V12 | eBay

Nice is is that, did you notice the wording under the Condition, “Original condition restored to excellent overall appearance and running condition.”

Yeah, but what exactly does that mean? Can vary tremendously from owner to owner. I've bought my fair share without, but PPI rocks.

People word bad.

Sounds like he is highly concerned with authenticity. Maybe he had concours dreams or hopes to hook someone with such an affliction. The laundry list of fixed stuff clearly isn't "everything in 'The Book'" he says has been done. A fully-Palmed XJS would not be very OEM.

I hate reading car descriptions online. It's awful. This ones not so bad, but the copy-pasted bull that's the trend to use to fill out your description and somehow drown your potential buyer in a sea of words. Describing the Marque and the history of the [model] and the crucial role that this [ItemName] plays in maintaining the integrity of the vehicle as designed by the remarkable engineers at [brandNameGoesHere].

Like they're writing an essay and trying to hit the word count.

Nice example. I wouldn't mind seeing it my driveway

But the new owner still has some work ahead. Fuel hoses still look original, and no mention of condition of the brakes.

Anyone notice something askew with the cruise control?

But I don't wanna sound like someone who get his kicks from picking things apart so I'll just shut up!

Cheers
DD
