This is the fan I used. Buy Imperial Hayden Super-Duty 16" Electric Fan - Black 3711 at Advance Auto Parts
It fit well inside the factory fan shroud. All I had to do was drill a few holes and attach 4 small tabs. It pumps a TON of air!

This is how I mounted the fans. I first cut off the OEM mounts drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the fan shroud to fit on the bolts I welded to the bottom of the radiator. You could bolt the bracket to the radiator bottom cross member instead.

If you are interested I can take a pic of the modified fans. The way they install I can remove them in a couple of minutes.

Me too. I have two electric fans, one always on with the aircon, one switched by the OEM temp switch on the water pump inlet. I welded studs to the cross member under the rad (hoizontal, pointing aft); made a fan chassis out of aluminium to hold the fans and to fit these studs at the bottom, and at the top the chassis bolts up vertically to the rad-top cross panel. OEM fan shround dispensed with.

All fixings sound and vibration insulated using the rubber OEM "cotton reels' as used all round the oil cooler and rad as standard. Can be pulled out as a unit quite easily. Highly recommended, a couple more MPG also.
