Default Park brake warning

Has Anyone fitted a warning buzzer to tha Park brake to remind that its on. If so how, as I found using the lever's micro switch wiring is not the best source for the earth.

The earth on the H/B microswitch is common to both the (under certain conditions) live circuits that go into it, so will not do it.

This would work, but there may be a simpler way:
  • The warning lamp feed is on the larger of the two binnacle multiplugs. I am pretty sure the warning light is fed with 12 volts and earths to the binnacle earth strap, so in other words the current is switched to it, not just earthed from a permanently live bulb. Assuming this is true, you could tap into that wire (if necessary by finding it in the loom bundle before the plug itself) and run a feed to the buzzer and an earth from it. I have done this to fix a faulty rear screen warning light loom on a friend's car.
If this sounds Ok to you and nobody has a simpler idea, I'll pore over the circuit diagram if you do not have one. The attached might be a help.
