Default Parker lights on US Headlights

Hi Friends
Just in the process of swapping over my Euro headlights to the US style twins, The only problem I have is working out where the Parker lights (pilot Bulb) go to on the twin lights. Is the Parker incorporated in the the first sealed beam headlight? and if so which of the three terminals is its active?

Common you blokes, somebody must have an idea or knows where the front park lights are placed on the US style twin headlight system.

The parking bulbs (sidelights) should go in the outer set of headlights and there should be a hole in the unit for it to push into.
I'm not sure on the wiring as I couldn't get mine to work so sold the car!

Thanks Steve I thought nobody was going to chime in there.
The set I got have two sealed beams the inner is just high beam and the outer has low and high, I've looked over that frame a dozen times and just cannot find a place for the parking lights. I thought maybe on the outer sealed beam light one of those where the parkers but its not. I'm sure its illegal not have to have parkers so I might have to buy the two outer's with parkers incorporated, unless I'm missing something.

The US cars have the side lights (park) incorporated in the indicator (turn) lights. They have a dual filament bulb 5/21 w.
If you look at Yank cars they have the side light as orange, not white....

The normal replacement for Europe is to junk the sealed beams and fit H4s with the sidelight hole in the dip (first) light

Hope this helps ya....

Yep thats exactly what I wanted to know, I found a set of replacement H4's with park light, Ill leave the high's as they are for now and change the lows. Nowander I couldn't find it anywhere in the manuals, just didn't think to look at the indicator for the parkers.
Cheers!!!
Forgot to add A.C.T = Australian Capital Territory I actually get asked that lot?

Yeah, that makes sense.
If I was you I would ditch the sealed beam inners and put modern lights; over here one sealed beam was about 2/3rds the price of a full set of halogens and a sealed beam won't have anywhere the output of a modern light.
One option that I have seen is to have full beam on the inners and dip/full on the outers so that when you go to full beam you actually get 4 full ones; I think that you may have to put an extra relay in but I'm not sure.

From memory, so might be wrong.....

I changed my '92 for quad lights in 1993. I seem to remember getting the original connecting cable from Jaguar that just plugged in to the loom. No relays as far as l remember.

I have got the original cable for the quads and they do as you say, on high they light up all 4 lights, just bought the outer's on Ebay for H4 bulbs and parkers inbuilt. Lucky I have new set of H4 bulbs in the shed. Ill still keep the inners as is, they look good still. Once I get them altogether I will offer up my Euro lights to my friends here on the forum if anyone is interested.
