Default Pinout for abs solenoid plug

Does anyone know which side of this 7 pin connector is ground? I'm about to test the operation of my solenoids and I was curious if anyone knew.

Thanks!

Wish I had a newer book, but I don't have any stuff for ABS cars. Just grab a multimeter, hit one in on a good ground and the other on all the pins. Whichever one has no resistance is your winner. Generally you are looking for a black wire.

After digging around it seems it should be a black wire on the far end of the connector. Not sure which end that is. The opposite side is white with a red tracer if that helps.

Thanks for the image!! My meter unfortunately crapped out on me. It was measuring continuity to the engine block on all the pins which i thought was a little strange.

Maybe it will decide to work in the morning.

Does the jag have a ground to the engine block by default? Otherwise, where is a good ground point under the hood?

just grab any unpainted metal attached to the body. Closer up front the cover running over the radiator has a grounding point thats easy to use and further back towards the fenders you can probably just use any bolts going through the fenders or maybe the bolts in the braces.
