This subject has come up before.

For the life of me I simply can't visualize how/where these filters would fit on an XJS. My memory is just too foggy, it seems.

I hope you'll post some pics along the way!

Cheers
DD

yes , they do fit , and fit well

i have installed them on my 1989 Coupe ,

remove the wiper arm grille, and the filters simply push into the side box sections , these sections allow air into the plenum for the fans etc

they are directional , so follow the instructions

i found that a bit of jiggling is required , as they seem oversized , but once in are a snug fit ,

there is no requirement for more air flow or anything , and they do filter the air quite well providing they are a snug fit

Where you get these filters from? How often do you clean them or replace the filters?

probably depends on how much you use the car, on my daily car i change it every couple of years, and at 4000 miles a year it isnt that bad just grubby,

i am not sure about these but the dont fit in the same place as the others.

We have pollen filters? Thought that was a big deal when introduced on the '88 - '90 (somewhere in there) BMW 7 series. Seriously, my antiquated XJS has pollen filters?

yes I bought 10 last December 2012, that is a pic of them fitted, I only wanted to know so I could advertise the remaining 9 on ebay and be model specific, although 4 of them were miss labelled series 3 filters when I looked.
