I’m getting close to re-installing the engine in my ‘91 XJS. I bought new PS hoses, but something isn’t making sense to me. The LP return line that is supposed to run from the rack to the oil cooler seems (to me) to be oriented in the wrong direction *if* I interconnect the brazed tabs that were on the two lines (see pic 1).

The second picture shows how the hose “naturally” points; if I try to force it to the oil cooler, it’s smack-dab in the way of the engine mount. This picture is taken from inside the engine bay, looking forward.

Am I missing something here? Did they send me a RHD hose in error?
