Hi All,

Does anyone know if this amount of play in the power steering pump is normal/ok?
The steering works fine, no leaks or odd symptoms or noise etc.
I don't have anything to compare it to so no idea if this is normal/expected for these old style pumps, or if it's a few hours running from grenading itself

Kinda normal. I'm always surprised by the amount of play in these GM pumps. I've seem them tight and loose but yours seem to be at the upper end of the range. If it doesn't leak or groan, leave it alone.
