Default Power Window stopped working

First glitch since buying 6,000 km ago. Drove home last night, was a little cool with top down, raised the windows. Tonight in garage went to lower windows, and right side will not budge. no clicks, no buzz, no voltage needle flinch when trying the switch. -Any quick method to diagnose? -Is there a separate fuse, relay or circuit breaker to reset? -I suppose the checkover will entail removing the door panel, and checking the motor itself.
Dang!

Quick comment to my own thread/post; I did search out the archives for an answer too, and did find a couple clues, but most importantly right now, as I don't have an electrical diagram or 'map' showing where I would look for a fuse, relay or circuit breaker for the right power window controls.
I'm still hoping for an easy fix.

I would start with the switch. They are prone to failure.

You can (gently) pull it out of the centre console from the top. It's just held in place by some spring clips. Then disconnect the switch from the loom and take it apart (It pulls apart quite easily) then either clean what you find inside, or spray contact cleaner everywhere, reassemble and see if that works

Default Power Window Blues

Thanks to ALL who have offered their experience and wisdom, I will delve further once I've checked out the switch itself tonight after work.
Thanks again

You can also swap it with the other switch to troubleshoot.

I'll bet you $5 it's the switch...

Be careful opening it up. There are springs in there that'll explode the innards if you aren't careful.

It isn't difficult to figure out how they go back together...

Default Window WORKING!!

Man, there is such a wealth of info and help on here!- You were all correct in diagnosing my window problem as being the switch. I did remove it, took it to my hobby work desk, and thanks to the quality of the switch, was a literal snap to pop apart. I used a 'zacto knife to gently clean the contact surfaces, hit with contact cleaner, small dab of lube, snap together, clean out the slots in the connector block, and plugged it together. I replaced the + battery cable, and voila, working like brand new! -I must sheepishly admit, I thought my prob was more than a dirty switch, as there was no static, no glitching, just zilch.
I love quick, cheap fixes. I'm going to do the other two switches for the helluvit, as precaution
Thanks again

@Greg

Glad you got it working. If that is the only issue you have with your XJS, you are in great shape !!
