Hello,
I am Thierry, and I am living in French alps, and I get this wonderfull car 12 month ago. It's a 1993 september model with the V12 6L.
I have already a Jaguar XKR covertible from 2007, but the XJS is so incredible...I love It !

Welcome to the Forum from the Midwest area of the U.S. Great looking XJS. Nice color too. I'm confident you will find a wealth of information on this Forum.

I love those sidemarkers! The little ones closer to the door! I wish we got those here in the US instead of the repetitive leaper logo.

They are easy to add. The wiring is bundled in the engine compartment, wrapped in tape and hidden near the holes that go into the cavity at the rear of the wheel arches. Take off the emblems, unwrap the wiring, drop it down in the cavity, and hook up the lights. I got a pair off ebay for pretty cheap.

They are some small différence between country, I don't know if all of them are about country rules.

Vee,

As mentioned, the wiring should be there, and apparently the mount holes are common whether there are badges or indicators. On the later cars, the indicator lens got simpler and more attractive (imo).

Pictures below of my AJ16 with standard indicators and also since I managed to fit clear lenses for orange LED fitment.

Paul

In the US that car would have the rear spoiler and body color side mirrors and headlight bezels.
Beautiful car as it is.
