Default A quick question

Hi all,

I am in search of an XJS two seater somewhere in the 1990s. It seems as though all the 94, 95, and 96 modles all have back seats, is that right?

By the way, this a a very good forum. I have been lurking for a couple of months and the experts here do a great job of helping others.

Yes that is correct but keep in mind there is very little room for an adult to sit in the back. Grocery seats are more or less what they are.

Groceries - you philistine!! Most of the cars I've looked at it appears that nothing has ever touched the back seats. My groceries go in the trunk.

The only factory soft tops ( convertible and XJSC) came as 2 seaters all of the hard tops were 4 seaters as long you had legless kids.

well of course they are ... as long as it is Grey Poupon ... and a six pack.

Are 6 cylinder XJS's common in the US?

That V12 is just too scary.

Thanks for the responces. I am looking for a convertable that is a two seater, but in my area, XJSs are not easy to find. This search might take a while.

I comfortably seat my two boys in the back of our XKR, one is 5 and the other kid is 10, so there, my back sits are used!

-Plums, 6 cylinders in US xjs's in the 80's are extremely rare. In the 90's most of the xjs's were 6 cylinders!
