yes I know that there are other post the same but I hit gold on this one. Bought a radio off eBay for 44 dollars no code Jerrys jag on eBay is selling the codes for them for 35 so for not much money I am back to the original radio for the car .jerry was spot on and I had the code day one so don't sit there and beat your brain just pay the 35.

 

In UK merely contact nearest Jaguar dealer with proof of ownership and vin number and radio code provided free while you wait

I think you can only do that for the original unit that is in the car for which you are quoting the VIN.

Depends upon the radio. Some radios e.g. some 1994 models cannot be decoded online.

 

yes the post was for a radio of unknown vin here in the states. by the way got it in and sounds good.
