radius arm problems

Default radius arm problems

Just refitted and bolted up the rear subframe and the radius arms are about an inch out when trying to fit. what have I done wrong any suggestions to fix the problem please,

Been there.

Loosen the 8 "V" mount long bolt/nuts.

Place a bottle jack under the large bush, block of wood for protection of course, and jack them onto the posts. The will sit there when the jack is lowered, so the bolt can be installed.

Dont jack ON the arm, they will bend.

Tighten those 8 bolts when you are done.

fixed....it was because I had tightened the four mounting nuts while it was jacked on the diff, so I undid the 4 mount nuts, put the axle stands back under the the body
lowered the jack and jacked the front of the subframe under the diff, and it all lined up, had me worried for a bit,,
