Default Rag top water seepage

So with a bunch of rain, the canvas top seems to absorb water. I have also had a case of wet carpet. I since have treated the top with the 303 fabric water proofer and in the last rain session I had no more water.

Does anyone think that enough water could seep through and drop into the insides?

The wet seems to start in the back near the convertible roof hinge mechanisim. Is there a drain in the area that the convertible roof stows or the mechanism sits?

My '96 leaks at the front of the windows but only when I run it through a car wash. The high pressure spray gets through.
