Afternoon all,
I took the car out yesterday around my local area for the first time this year and really the first time properly in the last 7 years of ownership. She's been having a lot of work done! Anyway , I was amazed at the reaction i got from people. I took her for some fresh petrol and a bloke commented how nice a car. Paid the lady in the forecourt who said "thats a beautiful car" . Went home and stood there looking at her and thought, wow! Then my next door neighbour came round and lavished compliments, a passing friend called in to have a look. Then I took the misuses out for her inaugural drive, she loved it.( just as Greg keeps telling people, what a drive). Passed the local pub and got some friendly waves from the customers sat outside enjoying the sun. Nipped up to show my 5 year old grandson who's car mad and started screaming when it was time to get out lol. What a couple of hours. The car developed a couple of teething problems but she's had a full rebuild with the help of the forum so I don't mind. Despite all the flattery from others, I genuinely felt good that all the time and effort that had gone into her was worthwhile to me. The xjs has really come into its own thats for sure.I feel good that I own this car and have enjoyed the journey so far with the help of the forum. Few niggles to sort but we wouldn't want anything else would we!

The people on this Forum are some of the most helpful, I've ever come across. It doesn't matter who you are, these people simply Live, Breathe, and Sleep Jaguar, and Love helping anyone else who also Loves them. Great bunch of people to hang around with.
