Sadly today I waved goodbye to my beautiful girl. My circumstances at the moment mean that I could not look after her properly. She has gone to a good home, with a fellow Jag lover. Even better for her, she will have company in the guise of a 1984 XJ6. His 'n hers.
Although I have only had a Jag for a few months, I have loved every minute of it, and I have also learn't a great deal. I will still be lurking around on here, and hopefully one day I will be able to give another big cat a home.
Well, you did warn us a while back that this day was coming, Richard, but I'm sure that didn't make it any easier for you. I'm sorry it's come to this.

3. Plenty of time to "get back on the horse".
4. It got another good home. I think my rescue dog, Coco had one and lost it
for an unknown reason. He has another good home with me. he has been out, eaten his kibble topped with chopped roast turkey and now snoozes as I do my chores and sip my coffee.
It is trying to rain out there!!! We need it, bad. But, not like the folks in SOCAL got it. Mud flow clogged a major artery!!!!
Very nice pic. Glad you were able to sell to someone that is interested and will keep the car going. I hope you can get back into ownership some time in the future.
Richard, make sure you stick around as life and situations are always changing you may just find yourself in another one in the near future.....best of luck!
Sorry your car had to go Richard, I'm sure most of us here have had to let some go due to life and circumstances getting in the way of a good relationship. I know I have had at least two very loved cars go that way.
Last year though, her indoors let her Mazda3 go so Fireball could stay, we just couldn't justify 3 cars,2 bikes and 3 trailers to register and insure. Especially because most of the time all the cars stay home while she walks to work and I ride most days.
I hope you stick around the forums, and may the Jaguar gods send you another one when the time is right.
