Default Ready for the cruising, anything new on the cars?

I thought I'd start a thread just to see if everyone has their cars ready for cruising after the crazy winter some of us are getting over. Mine is still in storage, coming out right after Easter.
On mine, just a couple items for upgrade, just bought a new set of rear trunk support struts from Engel Imports/Terrys' Jaguar Parts in Kalamazoo, through E-Bay. mine were weak, and with the added spoiler, would not stay up. I also just received a new set of tan Floor Mats from Auto Etc. I'm still considering a new set of rims, going to 16" from the stock lattice 15's which are beginning to show corrosion. I also still have the backup alarm sensor kit which I'm trying to get the gumption to install.

Anyone else?

Hey neighbour,
I'm over in Fredericton and this winter has been a rough one but it's raining outside and the snow is melting quickly. I'm close to ready for drop top weather Having this winter completed:
1. thermostat tower and thermostat
2. tunnel hoses and octopus hose
3. Secondary cam chain tensioners, almost complete just need one more day to button her up.
4. New floor mats
5. New wheel caps
The first dry day with the temperature above 15C I will be out and about.

Been working on the seats when the temperatures in the basement aren't too cold. The rear bench seat was in the same condition as the front passenger seat.

Wow!! The back seat looks Great!
What did you clean it with to get that result?
Or did you make new covers?

I'm looking forward to my first summer with a new-to-me 1987 XJSC. Beautiful 1 owner California car, <60,000mi. Current owner recently replaced the master, shocks, tires, ball joints, and some other things I can't recall, so I should be good for.. a few months. But only thing I'm changing is reverting back to the Starfish wheels (chrome wire knock-offs fitted now), and removing some 80s bling (chrome fender flares).

My XK8 is mostly receiving some cosmetic changes. Have acquired all the parts to swap over to the 3-gauge setup from the out dated nav. Also switching to 19" Apollo rims/new tires and adding a mesh grille up front to make it a little more aggressive. Small leak around the o-ring in the transmission which I should address, but other than that she should be good to go!

Finally getting some 60 degree days here in Chicago... looking forward to an enjoyable summer ahead!

The XJS comes out of storage on the 17th. We have yet to hit a 60 degree day but the snow is melting fast. All we have left in the driveway is the piles created by the snow blower. We put the insurance back on the XKR and hope to take that for a ride Friday.
Unfortunately we have too many cars and have to put the XJS up for sale this spring. We put it away in good shape so hopefully all we have to do is some final detailing.

Thanks LnrB.
I started out with some wet 600 and 800 grit sandpaper to remove the old paint. Then, over the course of a week, 4 or 5 applications of Leatherique Rejuvenator. Cleaned it all up, filled in some cracks with the Crack Filler and "painted" it using the wipe dye technique (from the Leatherique website).
