Not all the screws are so easy to see and I can't remember the exact number. After you remove them all, there are a few little tabs that run along the back shelf/cabinet where the cover 'catches' and there really shouldn't be much else. On my 1990, the waste seal ish thingy on the inside runs up against the 1/4 window pretty tightly and it takes a little pulling pushing,,, and you need to keep any eye on and mess around with the belt situation some. Should be toooo tough.

I'm not sure about the pre-facelift 2-seaters but on the late 2+2 cars, there are a couple of things that you need to consider:
- It's technically possible to remove the casing with the chrome sill plate in situ, but it's easier and less likelihood of damage of you remove the chrome door sill cover first.
- There are a number of hidden press clips in the B-post. It's very important to carefully locate them and prise them off from behind using a trim removal tool.
Good luck
