This is a project I am going to tackle down the road, but does anyone know where I can get rebuilt heads for a L6 4.0? Ultimately I would like exhaust seals put in. I have the seals and was going to tackle this myself but figure it would be best to get a rebuilt head with the seals in already.

Is there a place that can enlarge the ports? Has anyone tried this? Is this something any machine shop can tackle? What are the average rebuild costs?

I just cant have the occasional smoke out the back when I start it up. Not in environmentally conscious city I live in, regardless of whether it does anything at all in the big picture of the environment.

 

I have spoken to these folks, but not used them. They came highly recommended by a friend I trust.
