Default removing front seats

I need to remove my front seats. I easily got the bolts off of both seats.
I do have a question for you nice folks. Do I disconnect the plug from my seat or from the car side? Either way, can someone please give me the instructions on removing this plug?
As always, THANKS
Jomo

On my car, which is also a 1995, it was much easier to remove the plug on the car side. Here's how I remember it:
Once the seat rails are unbolted from the car (large Torx, I forget what size), it was pretty easy to lean the seat back, pull up the carpet, and unscrew the two Phillips screws holding the metal cover over the seat control unit.
On both the driver's and passenger's seats, I had to cut a plastic zip tie holding all of the cables together, then unbolt the ground connector (black wire held on with a 10 mm nut). Then, there was a small piece of plastic holding the seat ribbon cable to the car, which could be removed with a Phillips screwdriver. At that point, it was easy to unplug the ribbon cable from the seat controller. On the driver's side, there was another black connector. I think it was a two-pin connector. It was also pretty easy to disconnect.

EastRando,
Your instructions were just perfect down to needing the 10mm socket. The plug came off without any trouble. I am wondering if my car is a true Jaguar. But then again I did not put back the seats yet (Oh no!)
Now I have to redo the upholstery using the kit I got from Furniture Clinic.
These cars are so much fun to drive but require so much attention. I guess that is what winters are for (and falls, spring, summer, in between...).
Thanks again,
Jomo

on my 88, which has a connector for heated seats and for the seatbelt sensor, I just unbolted the seat and disconnected the plug under the seat. The hat channel the seat sits over has the wiring run up to it, so you just unplug it and leave it there.

Maybe it is a little different because you have adjustable seats? idk man just disconnect whatever adapters you can. The biggest issue I had with mine was getting enough room for the rear bolts. What i had to do was unbolt the fronts first, and slide the seat around until it was out of place so far as to allow more access to the back.
