Removing the injector/engine compartment wiring harness in an XJR-S
You can't call it an injector harness. That would be too easy. this thing plugs into everything under the hood. Didn't JaguarSport believe in plugs?
The sound of plastic wire insulation cracking convinced me that 18 years in the Florida sun translates into the need to rewire the harness.
Have to remove it first ...
Everything is loose (except that one wire that disappears under the car somewhere) and now I'm left with one huge cable of wires that disappears through the firewall. I have to remove the ABS reservoir mounting plate to see where it goes but someone tell me - does it end there or should I go through the passenger (LH) side footwell?
I'll post a picture of this mess when I'm done.

I re-wired mine this summer, it was not hard at all. Go to junk yard and buy 2-3 injector harnesses, off mid 90th BMW's, connectors will match and you will have plenty of heat tubing to make nice and reliable harness.
BTW, injectors on these fire in quadrants of 3 units each, which makes wiring even easier.
