Default Removing interior rear trim panels : 92 V12 Conv

Does anyone know how to remove the interior rear trim panels on a 92 V12 Conv ?

(These are the short panels at either side of the storage box behind the front seats that have the interior lights in them)

I have the ROM, which just says "Remove rear trim panel" in various sections, but it never goes into details about exactly how to remove these panels. It feels like they are screwed in place somewhere but I can't work out where and don't want to force them

Default Answer

Just in case someone else wants to know the same thing, it's quite easy.

With the roof down (and the rear quarter windows down) Carefully pry the round plastic clip off the rear panels (The clip thats visible when you stand outside the car and look in through the rear quarter window) It looked like mine had never been off before and with sunlight exposure they were very brittle and they cracked a bit when I took them out.

I'll have to try and get new ones during re-assembly.

Once you have the round clip off you need to pull the panel towards the front of the car. I found if I pulled it very slightly up at the same time it came off easier
