Replace window wipers

greetings,
i have a 1990 XJS V12 Convertible and need some help replacing the driver and passenger window wipers. I’m sure there is another name for this part, but I don’t know it. Anyway I removed the door panels and managed to get the old wipers out of the stainless wiper housing, but can’t make any progress putting the new wipers in. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Do you mean the door glass rubber strips?
I was trying to figure out how you removed the windscreen wipers from inside the doors!

I’m not discussing anything about the windshield. It’s the thin rubber seal at the top of the doors and against the door glass. Keeps rain from runn8ng into your doors.

Weather seal or weather strip, I'd say. Windows wipers are quite different.
Have you tried dishwash liquid?

On another recommendation I used Liquid Wrench Silicon Sray to lubricate the stainless housing channels. Then I carefully slipped the new wipers into the stainless channels. Took about twenty minutes. Dishwashing liquid would have worked as well.
