That's a great looking '60 Squarebird in the background too.
I bought my '89 coupe for more than twice what you paid and thought I got a great deal. Beautiful car. Congratulations.

I haven't had great luck rejuvenating leather (the front seats were like cardboard in my series III) but Leatherique (both products used in tandem) seems to have yielded the best results. Connolly Hide Care seems okay too.

Rhett that's a great blog you have, can't wait to read your new posts. I've got to do the trans mount and fluid changes on mine. The Holidays and the rain have kind of thwarted my plans. Then I had to work on my floor jack and get some supplies and equipment together. I did get under my car yesterday to get a look around. I read Greg in France's method of removing the trans mount. Seems like the way to go. Right now my garage is too full to park my car in there and it's cold outside and gets dark early. Got to get an early start.

Sorry for the delayed response! I'd contact Leatherique directly and ask them for a recommendation. It's been a few years and I don't recall the exact product name.

Thanks. Assuming you're talking about the infamous rear transmission mount that seems to have a 100% failure rate, there's Bernard Emden's page too (he implies it could hurt you if you're not careful): Replacing and Upgrading the Transmission Mount

If you do get to a point where you don't want to/can't wrench it yourself, J and G Automotive in San Rafael do a great job with the older Jags.
