I hear you, but let me suggest one place should you change your mind.
About Us
They seem to have the old Jaguar PDU that can reset your parameters., which may be all you need. If you go to anyone else, go here and have them hook up your car to the old skool diagnostic machine built for it.

On a possibly related subject, I replaced my TPS and now I have rough idle, but smooth driving.
When my car was at temperature, I unplugged the MAF sensor and idle smoothed out completely.
Have you tried this?
