Default Seat position Memory

Guys:
I have a 94 XJS 6
The seat adjusters work.
So do the heated seats.
The lumbar motor works though I don't feel any "adjustment"being made, is this an air bladder?
The seat memory doesn't work. Any tips on what to check first?
Thanks,

Tom

The lumbar is an air bladder and what I have seen is the hose from the bladder to the pump deteriorates and falls apart. It is a pain to replace as the hose is swagged into the bladder.

I removed my hose and replaced it with a bit of vacuum hose, I slightly tore the entry to the bladder and had to seal it up with Polyurethane sealant and a cable tie.

Seat memory I would check connectors and seat position sensors, you will have to remove the seats to get at the sensors, my car does not have power seats so I can not help you with where the sensors are but they will be there.
