seat seam repair
I have a 1988 xj-s, the passenger seat and the rear seats seams were splt. After several very expensive quotes at uoholstery shops, I decided to tackle it myself.
Purchased the needles and nylon upholstery thread for $5.35, Followed the existing holes and it was fairly easy, as soon as i find out how to post pictures will do.

Duke, I did the passenger seat as well as the top centers and ends of the back seat, I purchased the thread and needeles in a craft store, used nylon for upholstery and curved needles, about 5.35 in materials. The pain was dissassembly of the seats, assembly was easy. lien up the seams vey well and follow the previous holes. I have pictures of before and after, but I can seem to be able yo post here.
