Smile Security system Key Fob

My fobs for '90 XJS have crapped out on me & can't disarm security. Looking for suggestions to either obtain new (or used) replacement fobs or way to disarm security.
All help appreciated!

One post, no location and you want to know how to bypass security on a jaguar.

Uh, yeah.

Did you check the connections for the module?
You say the fobs have crapped out:
ALL AT ONCE???? Then it's not the fobs.
How many fobs do you have?
What is the DAC part no on the module?

Does the '90 have the alarm system in the truck behind the Rh rear light ?

I was under the impression that the earlier, pre '94 cars were an add on and one could just unplug the alarm system and not worry about it. I know that my '94 and '95 allows no such thing as they are integrated in with the rest of the cars systems. But I believe that's not the case with the earlier alarm systems as often times they were added as a dealer option and just a plug and play device.

For what it’s worth, disconnecting the module in the trunk behind the right taillight of my 12/92 allowed the car to start.

Ward,
I might still have one fob left for that year car.
My cars are all gone so I don't need it.
If you ever think you need the security ecu I have one of them too.
That might not be compatible with your connectors but we can check first.
Steve
