Shout Out To Paul (ptjs)
OB,
In short, Yes!
If you want the simplest way, you can bridge the wires at the handbrake switch. However, that does mean that you'll always have the handbrake light on.
The more sophisticated way, is to send the feed to the hood ecu pin, either by using a remote switch, or else by permanently wiring it so that the hood works, irrespective of the handbrake,
If you haven't got the wiring diagram, I can send you a pictorial to show you which ecu pin.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul@Oldcoastie@Jagboi
Cheers!
For your help guys, as I seemed to have developed an irrational fear of using the Handbrake for anything, ever since the Brake Pads got torn off on 'The Rolling Road' during the Annual MOT Test
As I never use the Handbrake, except for either raising or lowering the Soft Top, as I controversially always leave her in Park whenever I leave the Car for any reason, so I will have a look at your ideas and then decide which one of these might work best for me
Cheers!

Houston We Have A Problem!
With the Finishing Post in sight things seemed to be going a bit too well for my liking as with everything done and dusted except for connecting the Speedo, it was time to clear all of the Spanners and other stuff out of the way and then lower her down to connect the Big Bush of the Trailing Arms to their Spigots and then put the Wheels onHouston We Have A Problem!
At which point I've run into the only major problem that I've had so far, so need help from you more experienced guys who have been there and done it
The problem being the Big Bushes of the Trailing Arms are too far Forward to go onto their Spigots, where at this stage of the game I don't want to break anything and I have also lubed them with a Ton of Copper Grease
So any ideas as to what I should do?
First Job clear all the Spanners and other stuff out of the way
Supporting the Trailing Arm on a Block so it doesn't dig into the ground when I let the Car down
Problem! Big Bush of the Trailing Arm won't go back on the Spigot
This ones even more out of line than the First one! (Help Needed Please)

try this:
Set the car on its wheels, this should locate the cage better and it should rock backwards. Then even if the cups are a tiny bit unaligned, just jack under the arm bush and it will clonk on; then remove the jack and put in the bolt.
