Could you help me identify these pipes? They connect at the bottom of the exhaust manifold just above the join to the downpipes. They seem to go around the back of the engine where they join another pipe. I have the beginning of a small crack in the pipe but can't seem to locate the part on the the parts list or manual.

Those look like air injection pipes to me.

Thanks Doug, I'm sure you are right. I did look at the diagrams at the the JDHT site but the pipes they showed there did not appear to be like mine. But the location just above the downpipes does make sense as the injection ports.

Being a neophyte trainee in Jag motor mechanic is a fun learning experience!!
